Power Efficient Configuration Options
Penguin Computing is continuously improving the power efficient options we offer our customers. Our industry standard Relion® and Altus™ rackmount servers, which utilize the latest power management technology; Penguin Computing products enable our customers to achieve lower total cost of ownership (TCO).
- High-efficiency processor options: CPUs consume more power than any other system component and, as a result generate more heat. By offering AMD Opteron™ HE (high-efficiency) and Intel® Xeon® LV (low-voltage) processors in our Altus and Relion servers Penguin Computing enables customers to lower their per server power consumption.
- Power management: enabling AMD PowerNow and Intel SpeedStep technology under Linux enables Penguin Computing servers to take full advantage of the intelligent power management features offered by these platform advancements, further reducing server power consumption.

On-site service can be purchased for one to three year periods, during which time you will have access to 6 contact inquiries. Our on-site technicians will replace defective hardware and return your system to excellent working order.
